With Sprint365’s template-based approach, CERMAQ overcame fears of complexity and delays to implement a full ERP solution in just 6 months.
What was the problem?
CERMAQ, one of the world’s largest salmon producers, has been live on D365FO for 6 years but only using Finance, Bank, and Invoice Scanning. For a long time, CERMAQ wanted to utilize broader functionality, but their initial traditional implementation of Finance and related functions became very complex, went over time and budget, and did not meet their expectations. Several traditional attempts to start the next phase of their project, covering Project, Procurement, and Maintenance, all ended in fear of a repetition and therefore were not initiated despite a significant business need.
What did they do about it?
CERMAQ initially reached out for advice on planning and managing their upcoming project. However, after a short time, CERMAQ became very interested in Sprint365’s template-based implementation solution, built on Best Practice. Although Sprint365’s solution at the time did not include maintenance, the concept and track record were very promising. CERMAQ then asked Sprint365 to form a partnership, where they would jointly build and implement a Best Practice Template for Maintenance, Project, and Procurement.
